After much consideration we decided to pierce Lily's ears on Sunday.It was important to me that my mom was here for this momentous occasion. I will admit that I struggled to commit to it--questioning if I was taking away Lily's freedom to decide--I probably made a bigger deal out of this than necessary. But she is just so precious, I want to be the best mother possible!Back to Claire's--An added bonus of having my mom there was that she actually held Lily during the procedure, which made me feel better. Of course, there were a few tears (hers and mine) but the new earrings look adorable!
Once we got home let her have a little treat (Rocky Road Ice Cream) because she was such a great sport!
