This morning we dropped grammy off at the airport and we are sad to see her go! Our time together was so much fun--every day was packed! Even last night we didn't get to bed until after 2 AM and my mom was up at 5 preparing for her departure!
Sadly, I don't believe she will ever move out here to Kansas City, but I do know that she enjoyed her visit and will be back soon. We are going to miss her terribly and as soon as I got back from the airport I consoled myself with a piece of Carrot Cake from Bristol. It doesn't make up for my mom leaving, but it was delicious!

Lily is too cute! I love looking at all the pictures of her. I am so glad you had such a great time with your mom- I love when family comes! We sure miss you guys and we hope to see you soon! (oh yeah- love the earings!)

I appreciate the time you took in planning for my visit and the expense that went into those fun-filled days and NIGHTS! JP's was so cool and that was one of the best desserts I've ever had! P&L was super fun ... I'm glad we went 2 nights! Dinner at Bristols was such a delectable treat and you have some truly wonderful friends. Thanks for sharing Lily with me and allowing me to be a such a big part of everyday of her life. Video & phone are okay and get me through the days, but holding Lily, hugging & kissing on her and watching every one of her adorable animated expressions up close is priceless! I cant wait until your visit in August. Again, thanks for making my time there soooo enjoyable. I'm so proud of all of you and love you so very much!
