Of course, it was fun to hear about what I'm "missing out on" at my old job (wink, wink) but the best part was actually seeing her and being able to continue our friendship right where we left off...it was almost as if 10 months hadn't passed since I last saw her. I guess that's the great thing about her blog--I've been able to read about their family's daily life and still feel connected to her.
Lily was very well behaved at lunch and she took to Dawn naturally (Maybe she could tell Dawn had some previous experience with babies and she felt safe?). Lily hasn't yet reached a point where she feels uncomfortable with new people, but she does do better with some than with others!
I asked Eric to take a picture of us today since we matched (Some might say, "Matchy, matchy, green squared!"). Below is Lily showing off her shiny new tooth! Its hard to get a clear picture of it because every time I try, she sticks her tongue out.
Cute!!! Two beautiful girls!!! Wow, that Eric sure is a lucky guy!

Thanks for meeting me for lunch today - I had a great time and it was great to finally meet little Lily! She was so adorable and very well behaved! I still laugh at her coughing to get our attention! How cute! Let's not wait as long next time!
