Well the day finally arrived--My baby is six months old!In some ways it seems like our first days together, when she was fragile and so delicate, were ages ago! But, it also seems like just yesterday when I saw her tiny face and heard her little cry for the first time!
There is so much I want to say about what this time means to me, but I know I've said most of it all before...Not surprisingly, these have been the best six months of our lives! Each day is filled with so much joy and love--we are blessed beyond belief!
To celebrate her half birthday we decided to get some Gerber Biter Biscuits. Although the package says they are intended for children ten months and older, we bought them anyway. Lily handles her little celery and carrot sticks so well, I knew she would be okay with the biscuit. What I didn't know was how messy it would be!
After a few minutes with the biscuit it was obvious she would need a bath and fresh clothes. But watching her taste the new flavor and examine the cookie made it more than worth the clean up effort! I love watching her learn and I am excited for what the next six months will bring!
Sarita, it is hard to believe Lily is 6 mo. old - so much she has already learned and so much more to go! I am very glad that you and Eric are enjoying every minute of it. love, Christy
