When we arrived at the park Lily immediately walked into the fountain with her party dress on!
She was soaking wet, but having a great time splashing around with Parker!

Once the table and decorations were set up, we changed her into a swimsuit and oddly, the water had lost some of its appeal.
After eating cake and opening presents, we changed Lily into a second party dress for the afternoon.
At the end of her celebration, as we were ready to leave the park, Lily got a burst of energy and wandered back into the fountain to play!
Of course we could have stopped her from getting wet both times, but she was so having so much fun...and after all, it was her birthday...

The Princess is One!!! I so wish I could have been there to celebrate Lily's big day with you. After looking over the photos, I just can't believe that a whole year has gone by and she's changed so much! She doesn't look like a little baby anymore--she's a sweet little girl! I love the photos! Sarita you did a wonderful job of putting the collages together. As I expected, you also did a wonderful job of organizing her party--every detailed was given so much loving thought, I can tell! I know it didn't turn out exactly as you planned, but it's the friends, the love, and the fun that create the life-long memories that you're left with (and I know you have plenty of those). God has truly blessed you with amazing friends. And as I continue to pray for you, Eric, & Lily, I can't help but feel so blessed as well that God has placed Lily with the perfect parents that love her beyond measure. What a lucky little girl!!!
